# Token Utility

EarthPulse Token (EPT) is the primary digital asset powering the EarthPulse ecosystem. The token functions as the core economic mechanism that enables transactions, incentives, governance participation, and ecosystem operations.

The utility of the EarthPulse Token is designed to support long-term sustainability and continuous growth of the platform. Unlike purely speculative tokens, EPT is integrated into multiple functional components of the EarthPulse ecosystem.

One of the primary utilities of the token is environmental reward distribution. Individuals and organizations who participate in verified environmental protection activities receive EPT tokens as compensation for their contributions. This mechanism transforms environmental protection into an economically incentivized activity.

In addition to rewards, the token also functions as a governance asset within the ecosystem. Token holders may participate in governance decisions related to ecosystem upgrades, environmental project funding, and future development proposals.

EPT tokens may also be used for ecosystem transactions, including payments for environmental data services, participation in environmental funding programs, and access to sustainability marketplaces within the platform.

Through these utilities, EarthPulse aims to establish a circular token economy where environmental protection generates value for participants while supporting long-term ecosystem growth.
